Prices in rupees, with a GST invoice
Plans are priced per active product, never per scan, and the first product is free forever with every module. Indian businesses see and pay prices in rupees. Prices below exclude GST; 18% GST is added at checkout.
| Plan | Products | Monthly | Annual (per month) | Annual total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | ₹0, forever | – | – |
| Starter | 10 | ₹1,499 | ₹1,199 | ₹14,388 |
| Growth | 50 | ₹4,999 | ₹3,999 | ₹47,988 |
| Business | 250 | ₹14,999 | ₹11,999 | ₹1,43,988 |
| Pro | 1,000 | ₹39,999 | ₹31,999 | ₹3,83,988 |
| Enterprise | More than 1,000 | Custom | Custom | Custom |
Rupee prices are ItemDocs’s own India price list, fixed so they don’t move from day to day. Annual plans are 20% less than twelve months. Every plan has every feature; plans differ only by product count and file storage. Variants with identical documentation count as one product.
- GST tax invoice for every payment. Issued by Nexivara (GSTIN 08AWPPB6630G2ZH) with your GSTIN, place of supply and SAC. Within Rajasthan it shows CGST and SGST at 9% each; from any other state, IGST at 18%. Add your GSTIN in billing details to claim input tax credit.
- Payment. Pay online in Console → Billing by UPI, card, net banking or wallet through Razorpay. Plans are prepaid for a month or a year and never renew automatically; we email you before the period ends.
- No surprise bills. If you don’t renew, the account moves to the Free plan and nothing is deleted. Printed codes keep opening a page. Full details are on the pricing page and in the refund policy.
Hindi and English from one QR code
Indian customers read in more than one language, and a printed booklet can only hold so many. An ItemDocs page can be published in English and Hindi, and up to ten languages in all, from the same QR code. Customers switch language on the page. If their phone is set to a language you have published, the page offers to switch once. Anything not yet translated falls back to your default language instead of disappearing.
You add translations module by module in the Console: the guide titles, steps, FAQs, troubleshooting and warranty text. The Console shows how much of each language is done and flags translations that are out of date after you change the English. You publish a language when it is ready. The page interface itself (buttons, labels, the registration form and its error messages) is already translated into Hindi.
Warranty registration instead of paper cards
A paper warranty card depends on the customer finding a pen and a post box, and reaches your service desk weeks later, if at all. With ItemDocs, customers open Warranty on the page, read the terms and tap Register product. You choose the fields (name, email, phone, purchase date, invoice number, serial number, where they bought it, address), they see the warranty end date at once, and you download the list as CSV for your service team or CRM.
The customer’s details go to your brand, which is the controller; ItemDocs processes them on your behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. More on how it works: warranty registration by QR code.
Service centres, spare parts and support
Most after-sales calls in India are about installation, service visits and spare parts. Put the answers where the customer is already looking:
- Support module: customer-care phone and email, working hours, your support website and a link to your service-centre locator.
- Spare parts and accessories: part number, photo, compatibility note, a price in rupees and a buy link to your store or marketplace listing.
- Installation and setup: a Start Here sequence and short videos in place of a technician’s explanation, plus installation PDFs.
- Product updates: dated notices at the top of the page for firmware, documentation changes or safety issues.
Analytics show what customers search for and what they can’t find, so the questions your call centre hears every day become guides. See reducing support calls.
QR codes and the Legal Metrology rules
The Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 set out the declarations a retail package must carry. A July 2022 amendment allowed electronic products to give some of those declarations, such as the full address and the size and dimensions, through a QR code on the package, while the manufacturer, packer or importer name and the consumer-care telephone number and email stayed on the package. The relaxation was first granted for one year; a June 2023 amendment continued it for electronic products with no time limit. The Legal Metrology QR code guide goes through the rules in detail.
Two points matter. First, the QR route covers specific declarations for electronic products, not packaging labels in general; MRP, net quantity and the other declarations that must be printed stay on the box. Second, a product page is not a substitute for the mandatory declarations: ItemDocs is where the manual, warranty and support live, alongside the label your packaging team already prints.
